I splurged this morning and for breakfast had whole wheat toast with 4 slices of bacon from the cafeteria where I work. Decadent treat.
So I ate the breakfast I brought from home for lunch (left over from yesterday's Sunday breakfast). Quick cooking bulgur wheat simmered with almond milk, cinnamon, and a dash of vanilla for 12 minutes. Drizzled with olive oil. Then topped with strawberries and blueberries that were lightly sauted and glazed beforehand with a little agave nectar and a tablespoon of water. The plump, sweet orange was dessert.
Bulgar wheat cereal is a really nice change to oatmeal, which I love too.
